At Simon James Home, your safety is our highest priority. All our hand-poured candles are made with premium ingredients and fully comply with the latest UK and EU CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) regulations. Below you will find detailed safety information and the required CLP labelling for each fragrance we offer.

General Candle Safety Guidelines

To enjoy your candle safely and get the best performance, please follow these important guidelines:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep candles away from flammable materials, children, and pets.

• Place candles on a heat-resistant surface.

• Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn to prevent soot and large flames.

• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Allow the wax to fully melt across the surface on the first burn to avoid tunnelling.

• Keep the wax pool free of debris.

• Stop using the candle when 1cm of wax remains at the bottom.
