Autumn Candles FAQs
The best autumn candles lean into warm, comforting fragrances: smoky woods like cedarwood, soft leather and amber, creamy sandalwood, and gourmand scents like fresh croissants and rich coffee. Our Smoky Cedarwood and Leather Books candles are customer favourites once the evenings turn cooler.
Most of our customers switch to autumnal scents from early September, as soon as the evenings start to darken, and burn them right through to late November before moving on to festive fragrances. There are no rules though. If Smoky Cedarwood is your favourite, it works all year round.
Yes. Every candle we make uses plant-based soy wax and paraben-free fragrance oils, with a lead-free cotton wick. They're vegan, cruelty-free and designed for a clean burn, so you can enjoy them with complete peace of mind.
Our large glass candles (30cl jar, approximately 220g) offer a long, clean burn of over 40 hours when cared for properly. For the best results, let the melt pool reach the edges of the jar on the first burn and trim the wick to 5mm before each use.
Burn your candle in the room where you'll be spending your evening, allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the jar each time you light it, and keep windows and doors closed while burning. This helps the fragrance build and linger, especially with our more subtle, cosy scents.
